Lessons

Lessons are for beginner, intermediate and professional level musicians. Students include both young adult and adults. Sessions are designed for each individual and their learning style. 

Specialties Include

Metal, Jazz, Rock, Experimental, Improvisation, Classical as well as most groove genres.  Lessons may include music composition, reading music and developing aural skills.

Teaching Experience

I have been a professional drum instructor for 20 years and love teaching music.

I have a BM in Jazz Performance from Virginia Commonwealth University and additional comprehensive schooling in classical percussion, music theory and composition.  I am currently teaching in person lessons in the New York City area. For 17 years I was the head instructor at a major education studio in the Philadelphia area where I taught students and helped prepare them for college auditions. I also teach private lessons from my own studio where I focus on development of individual artistic sound and proper technique.

Great Location

I teach in home lessons or out of my studio, a few minutes from the L in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.

Affordable Price

45 minute lessons are $60 and 60 minute lessons are $80.
